Powerpoint cannot open PPS files

Hello! I have problem with PowerPoint. Namely, my PowerPoint cannot open PPS. This document gave me friend. He burned it to CD media and gave me today in school. I do not know now what the cause of this problem could be. I have not experience with this, so, I am kindly ask you for help.

Hello! Check first if that CD media is burned well. Maybe CD is damaged and that is why you cannot open PPS with your PowerPoint. Also check with your friend which version of PowerPoint he/she uses. If his/her version is newer then yours, then that is cause of your problem. Hope this helps you.
