Hello people. I have Toshiba Satellite M35X-S1492 laptop and I want to buy a power inverter so I can use laptop in my car and not to waste battery. I have heard that these power inverters can be connected directly to cigarette lighter in car and that they can be used to power laptop. Is it a safe thing to do?

Hi. Power inverter can be used to power laptop in the car and they can be connected to cigarette lighter. When you go to purchase power inverter be very cautious. This little device can destroy laptop and all data in a second. Be sure to buy highest quality inverter you can find. Also, take note of laptop power requirements (number of W labeled on AC adapter) and multiple this number with two. This number will give you the minimum power that inverter should give.
