Hello! I am running Windows XP Professional operating system with Service Pack 2 installed and Microsoft Office 2002. I have a problem with PowerPoint. Namely, I cannot import .avi file to PowerPoint and make slideshow. Can you tell me what I need to do to make this possible? Thank you very much!

Hello! Well, I can tell you that .avi extension is too new for PowerPoint 2002, so, it is nothing weird the fact that you are getting error message when you try to do this. I suggest you to rename this .avi file to .mpg file and then try to import it to PowerPoint 2002. This should work for you (for my friend did).
