A PowerPoint document I’ve had for some time suddenly went bad. It has an audio clip on each slide and it advances the slides automatically. It used to work alright but now it doesn’t play audio correctly on the slides. It restarts the audio part in the middle of the slide and repeats itself. Nothing has been changed on my pc and I don’t have a clue why this started happening. I ran the same PowerPoint doc on my friends machine and it ran fine. Does anyone know what’s happened to my pc or that PowerPoint doc?

When I had some problems with viewing powerpoints I just updated my Office to SP1 and it worked fine. Maybe this would help you too. Anyway you didn’t even tell what version of Office you’re using. Provide us with some more info and we’ll probably be able to help you. This might be important: are the audio files resident on the machine running them or are they running across a network?
