Hello! This morning I have took my hard drive out and go to school with it to transfer some data at my school computer. When I came home I put hard drive in case. Since then, I get error message that no fix disk is present. I check if I connected hard drive properly and I have (my IDE cable is set ok in motherboard and hard drive). What is this?

Hello! This error message occurs when your hard drive is not connected properly (but you said that it is) or when your jumpers are not set correctly. So, you should check jumpers if they are set as master. If that is not case, then problem could be that your cmos not setup properly. Go to bios and change setup if there is need for that. If this is not case, too, then, you have a hardware problem with ide cable, motherboard or hard drive.
