I know that it's supposed to be possible to connect a PS2 to a PC monitor (LCD), but I don't know exactly how to do it. Do I need a TV tuner card for that? If I connect it that way, will there be some significant graphic differences? Thanks in advance.

Don't know about TV cards, but I heard you can do it with a VGA box. It's some sort of an adaptor that converts the TV-quality of the signal into "PC quality". As to the graphic differences, in theory it should be equal or a little better, but that depends mainly on the quality of the monitor and TV that you're comparing.
