How can I connect my PS2 to my PC and play console games there? I know this can be done somehow, but for the life on me I can't find the answer in the documentation… I've looked online as well (it's what I'm doing here, I suppose), but nothing so far.

Not sure why you would want to connect the two, but if what you're trying is just to play a PS2 game on your PC, it's actually pretty easy to do. Try doing a google search for "PS2 emulator". That should land you a couple hundred thousand hits, now you need to weed through the bullshit and get to a genuine, working piece of software. Once you find and download that, you should be in the clear.
But if you already have a PS2, I really don't see the point in all that…
