| Hello! I have very weird problem with my DVD drive. Namely, I have NEC DVD burner. But, yesterday it just stopped to read DVD media. I have seen in Device Manager that this optical drive is shown as DVD burner normally. It burns DVDs and CDs, but read only CDs. I am running Win XP Pro SP2 OS. Have you ever had this annoying problem? |

| Hello! Unfortunately, I have. I have searched for the cause of this problem nearly whole week. I have not found any solution, believe me. I am guessing that Windows somehow went wrong. Do not ask me how and why, because I do not know. I have reinstalled my system and that solved this problem. |
