| Ouch! I hope that your “friend” is not your boyfriend, because he’s in for a bumpy ride. The chances are great that if he’s guilty he’ll end up in jail on a couple of years, depending on the damage he has made. Phishing is the term coined to refer to illegal actions of acquiring information about somebody else’s credit card username and password in order to steal money from his account and transfer it to your own. The victims of those attacks are usually found via eBay or similar online banks and shopping sites. So, basically, your friend is a cyber robber! So, if I were you, I’d stay out of him if it turns out that he has really been phishing. |
