| I have seen some refurbished Macintosh at my local reseller. Prices are great, especially for some older Macintosh models. To be honest, Performa 6300CD caught my eye. Does it worth any money? I do not need computer for anything else but some mail correspondence and seldom writing some texts. Nothing complicated and I dont think that I will ever need computer for something more. Can you tell me its specification? |

| Performa 6300CD is ancient computer. It has been introduced in January 1996..So the specs are adequate for that year. Processor is PPC with 100 MHz, 40MHz bus and standard 16MB RAM which ca be upgraded to maximum 64MB. It comes with standard 1.2 GB IDE hard drive and 4X CDRom. Performa supports MacOS from 7.5.1 to 9.0. Honestly, on this machine you will not be able to anything more than using mail and writing some texts. If you are sure thats all what you need then you can buy it. But, for the sake of my conscience, I have to tell you that these models (along with older brother 6200 series) are often described as the worst Macintosh ever produced. |
