| You know, one of those digital pens, with Bluetooth connection. Mine is Mustek, and its really remarkable piece of hardware, only my new OS wont recognize it. I was previously a win98 user, and my pen was installed almost automatically. Now, on Windows XP, system is reporting that its unknown device. Dont get confused, I already installed drivers, but system still doesnt recognize it. What to do? I dont have a technical support, and I cannot open my pen to repair it. Thank in advance! |

| Have you read your installation manual, what does it say about different OSs? I am just curious, is it supported by Linux? Different OSs use different drivers, I think, but I am confused that it actually works in Windows 98. Have you tried it on some other machine? This will tell you is it your pen or something else. Then, there is a question about Bluetooth. Is it configured properly, do you have proper drivers, do you use some other devices ass well? Go to control panel and select add new hardware option. When computer asks you about location, select it manually from your installation cd. And, just for the case, try automatically select plug-and-play devices. You should try with different drivers as well, go to windows XP folder if you have it and use an exe file. If none of these works check vendors site and search for updates. |
