Hello! I have bought new hard drive. Vendor told me that hard drive is clean. I have tried to install my XP on it, but from some reason I could not do that. My friend told me that is because I need first to format it and partition it and that I will need specific software for that purpose. Please, tell me which software I need. Thanks!

Hello! Always when you buy new hard drive (clean), you need to format and partition it first and after that install operating system. Well, for formatting and partitioning you can use Partition magic. It is third part software and I can tell you that it is very easy for use. For me, it is the best software on the market.
