| I have a computer for last three years. However, yesterday I got Partition magic. By my knowledge, that software allows users to manage partitions on their hard disk. I found out manual on the Internet about how to use it. Now I want to use it for partitioning a newly installed drive. Is it OK? I also need some recommendation about partitioning itself. |

| I think you should think twice about using a Partition magic for any reason. That program could easily kill your Windows so bad that you may loose all the data on your hard drive. At least you should find somebody that really have some experience with Partition magic and ask him to explain you how to manage it. However, if you still want to continue with partitioning of your hard drive, I could help you with that. Hard drive should be usually divided in two partitions. On first bootable partition, you should install your operating system and all the other programs you would need. On the second partition, you should keep all your data. Some people like those partitions equal and some like that second partition be bigger than first. |
