I’m creating a catalogue and a database for my boss and I’m working with Excel now. I’m trying to insert a paragraph of text in the cell, but it won’t fit. This has to be neatly done because my boss expects that from me, and I’ll be in trouble if I don’t do this properly. Tell me how to make this work, please.

Well, I’ve never tried to insert a whole paragraph into Excel cell, but I guess that it’s the same like a longer phrase. The fact that you can’t insert this paragraph into a cell doesn’t mean that it’s, actually, not inserted, only that it can’t be displayed. But when you click on it, you can read the whole text. But I guess that you want it to be visible. I’ll tell you what I usually do when I encounter such problems. Sometimes I switch font to a smaller size by selecting everything I want and then choose the size form the toolbar. Another option is called Merge Cells and when you do that, two or more cells combine into one and the whole paragraph can fit in. I think there is a certain option called shrink to fit, but I don’t know how it works exactly.
