I don’t know anything about power supplies, watts and volts. It wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t for my PC. I’m having certain problems and the PC keeps on restarting. A friend told me that I’m supposed to buy a new PSU and that since I have two drives and a very good graphics card I have to pick the one that can endure all that. My present PSU is 350W. Which one should I buy?

You should buy a 400W PSU. A PSU is a device that supplies your PC with electricity and it’s of vital importance that it works properly and that it has enough power to support all the devices installed in your PC. I think that in terms of voltage, a PSU converts 110-240 V that flow through mains and makes it suitable for your PC. And now something about electricity: Watt stands for power and Volt for Voltage. Your current PSU probably can’t endure all the devices connected to it and that’s why it keeps on restarting your PC. It can cause serious damage if a PC doesn’t have a good power supply. Even the motherboard, processor or HDD can suffer and get broken. That’s why you should buy a new, powerful PSU in order to protect your PC.
