PC crashes after plugging ethernet card

Hi! I have no idea what is going on but my computer is now crashing a lot, and all I did I plugged my new Ethernet card! Everything was fine earlier but now it randomly freezes locking up my PC completely! I apparently made a mistake with thinking that it will work perfectly, but Ive obviously got just the opposite from this one. I wonder if some of you are experiencing the same problem and if there is any way so I could solve this problem or I just wasted my money.

Hi! Well first you could share the info about other specs and what Ethernet card you are using, otherwise I am not sure what to suggest to you so you could solve the problem. I heard people complain about Netgear Ethernet cards, most of the time having the same problem during online gaming. Shooting in the dark that some other components or connections are causing the problem will be inappropriate without having model of your card and all the PC specs.
