Since my last reinstall of Win98 I get this error after system boot-up, in systray. However my scsi plextor burner works almost ok. It just happens that some cds are burned with errors. This happened even before, but not so much as now. I tried to install driver I got on diskette, but it seems the driver is corrupt. Any suggestions?

Remove the driver from device manager in the safe mode, reboot, connect to internet, go to www.driverguide.com, try to find your driver and install it. Also, consider upgrading to Win2k or WinXP if your machine is strong enough, these operating systems have better built-in SCSI support. About errors you get – maybe you should change your cdrw device, too.
