Hello. I have bought a PCI firewire IEEE-1394 card. I needed it because I have external hard drive that has firewire connection. Of course, when I installed this card in my computer the problems started. Windows can not recognize this card and I can not connect hard drive to it. Can you give me any suggestion about this problem?

Hi. I think you have a problem with PCI firewire IEEE-1394 card driver. You should have a CD or floppy with drivers. These drivers are usually coming with the product. If you haven't received any media with drivers then you had purchased very cheap card that relies on Windows drivers. In that case you are out of luck if Windows did not recognize it.
