Outlook keeps sending Outbox items

Hello! I am novice PC user. I have PC Pentium Laptop computer. That is Intel Pentium 4 2.6Ghz. I am using Windows XP OS. I think that is professional edition. The question is next. When I am using Outlook and send some mail, does it keeps sending outlook items? Thanks for your opinion or comment!
