Outlook Express and mp3 attachments question

Hello there. I have a problem with Outlook Express and mp3 attachments. I have received mp3 attachment and accidentally picked Windows Media Player to open it. Of course, I received error saying that Windows Media Player can not open this file type. The problem is that now every mp3 attachment is opened with Windows Media Player. Is there a way to change this setting?

Hello. Have you checked file type association for mp3's? Try to change this and set it to program that can open mp3 files without problem. I hope that this will help you to solve your problem with Outlook Express and mp3 attachments. If this does not work out you can always install mp3 codec for Windows Media Player.
