Outlook 2002 - Yahoo SMTP server

Hello everyone! I have a problem when trying to send e-mails. I'm using yahoo SMTP with Outlook 2002. It was all ok up until today. Now I receive message that the TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the server… I did no changes to my pc whatsoever in the last few weeks at least. I tried using outlook express and the same thing happened. What could be causing this problem?

This may be the work of some kind of spyware - I'd recommend a checkup. But it could also be something completely different. I've read somewhere(maybe even here in some other thread) before that yahoo changed SMTP values - maybe you could try inserting .net instead of .com in your SMTP value. It helped some people but this might depend on your ISP. Anyway trying it cannot harm you. I hope that this info was of use to you.
