Hi! I just installed Outlook 2000 but I can't receive any messages. Whenever I click the 'send and receive' button I get the message that something is wrong with my SMTP settings. I suppose that this is something that can be fixed easily but I'm new to all this. Please help me!

The most probable reason for your problem is that you, or somebody else who was setting up your Outlook just made a typo while entering the SMTP settings. You just need to open Outlook, click on the 'tools' dropdown menu, select options and then click account settings. I think you'll find SMTP settings under 'advanced properties' section. The SMTP settings are different for each ISP so you should get informed about the correct ones for your ISP. You can probably find it on their website.
