Hi I heard there were some extensions and add-ons that can boost the performance of the FF borwser? Is that tru? Where to I go to get them, and does the CPU type brwser version or matters? I got FireFox 2, in case it matters? Thanks a bunch!

Yes, there are things called optimizers, and they do differentiate by CPY type (well, some of them). For Firefox II, I'd recommend getting "fasterfox". Here's the download link: http://fasterfox.mozdev.org/
If that doesn't do it for you, try googling out "Firefox optimize"; that should generate a couple of thousand hits…
