Operas IRC function not working

I have problems while using Operas IRC function. It seems that this function is not working properly. To be more precise, I am not able to connect to some channels. I am sure that connection settings are correct, because I use them without problem in stand alone IRC client. Can you explain what is wrong here?

Strange. I have never heard about this issue in Opera after 7.5 version. What version are you using? If you use Opera 7.5 then update it and problem will be solved. Otherwise I can not help you because this is software bug in 7.5 version and if you have experienced this in later versions you should notify developers. Just to explain at the end, this problem occurs in Opera 7.5 when you try to connect on IRC channel with several servers.
