Hello. I have reinstalled Windows XP recently and I am looking for a place to download older version of MusicMatch. I have some stability issues with new version and, what is worse, it is a real resource hog. My computer is not that powerful so it can handle well music player that needs almost 100 MB RAM (I am just curious why it needs so much RAM).

You can download older versions of MusicMatch from some web sites that host older versions of various applications. Some of these web sites are oldversion.com and oldapps.com. MusicMatch is not alone when it comes to computer resources. Many new players are doing the same (iTunes, for example). Developers are trying to add more and more features in their product so it uses more and more resources. Honestly, I need program that will only play my music and nothing else.
