| Huh I think this oldie is starting to die on me! I have Advent 7001 that is suddenly having problem to start up. Every time I give a try to make it happen it shuts down and every next time performing the shut down faster then the previous one. As you can see I am not getting any companion from this machine any more, because it is having trouble to gather itself, load Windows and stay powered on. I even bought the new battery to make it function, but the problem stayed, unsolved. It would be nice if you could tell me what is causing this shut downs and any way to fix it, if it is possible to achieve that. Cheers! |

Heh, I guess not liking your company mate. Sorry for joke, I bet it can be frustrating not being able to start it to work anymore. Well I have no idea what specs you have on that PC, hope not any overclocking job on that old one, because then it is one of the possibilities that you are experiencing problem with CPU or it is some kind of over heating going on. Could be even that your is Windows messed up? Share specs and what OS you are using, I am working in the dark here, can't diagnose with certainty.
