Hello! A friend of mine installed me yesterday Microsoft Office 2000. This morning when I tried to open Word, I have been asked for installation disc. So, I want to ask you following: does Office 2000 need disc for working? I mean, does disc must be always inserted in CD Rom? Thank you!

Hello! Of course not! I assume that something went wrong with Microsoft Office 2000 installation. That is why you cannot open Word. Maybe you cannot open other applications (Excel, Outlook, etc). You will need to boot installation disc and repair this. This problem occurs from time to time, there is nothing to be worried about.
