Hello. I've got an e-bay-bought machine with both OS X and OS 9 installed. I can start up OS X OK, but can't seem to do the same with OS 9. When I try to boot to OS 9, I get a username/password prompt. Of course, I don't know the passwords. So far there's been no response form the seller on this subject. Any way to reset this so I can access OS 9? It's not really a big deal, but I'm curious.

You don't really need to boot to OS 9, if you have some older applications that require it they should start it up on their own (and you can do the same manually in System Preferences / Classic). Come to think of it, while in Classis mode, you should be able to access your multi-user settings and just delete or disable the existing OS 9 user account. That way you could set up a new one with your own username/password.
