Hello there. I have a problem with hard drive. I have rather old Pentium III computer with 20 GB hard drive. I needed more storage space so I have decided to buy new hard drive. I picked Seagate 160 GB IDE HDD and connected it properly to motherboard and power supply. However, BIOS shows that this hard drive has only 60 GB (if I read this properly). Can you explain me what is going on here?

Hello. Large hard drives are usually not recognized in full capacity on older computers. To solve this problem you will have to update (flash) BIOS with latest one. Go to motherboard manufacturer web site and search for your motherboard model. You will find here BIOS updates. Read instructions on web site carefully before flashing your BIOS.
