I use Norton Antivirus for years. I am very satisfied with this Symantec product. But, since last week I have some troubles with it. When I start scanning my computer, everything goes well until it almost finished scanning. On that point it just stops responding. I really do not know what causes this problem. If you do, please, tell me.

There are lots of reasons. But, I would suggest you to first shut down some auto lunches for programs if you have that option enabled. If that is not cause, then try to not killing scanning process, because Norton sometimes need a lot of time to scan some folder or program and it seems that it stop to respond, but, that is not case. Also, delete temporary files (that could help) and scan for damaged files repair them, too.
