Norton Interner Security Antivirus problem

I have extremely annoying problem with Norton Internet Security Antivirus. There are some files I need to download and Norton Antivirus does not allow me to do this saying that the file is infected with some virus. I know that files are good (they are custom builds of one program my friends are developing) but I do not have a possibility to override Norton Antivirus settings and to save this file on my hard drive. Can this be done somehow?

Norton Internet Security Suite is well known for causing many annoying problems. It is extremely hard to tell Norton Internet Security Antivirus to do something it thinks it is not right. In matter a fact, it is frequently impossible. You best bet is to completely shut down Norton Internet Security Antivirus (and this can prove hard thing to do) and to download this file. Honestly, use some less intrusive antivirus software if you can.
