| I had Norton Antivirus 2007 installed on my system. In the beginning, this program worked really well. But, as the time was going on, my computer was becoming more and more slow at boot time. I dont know if this was happening because Nortons background file system scan, but I do know that I have removed this piece of crap from my system and installed Nod32 which is really outstanding if we speak of performance. PEOPLE, do not install Norton, if you dont want for your computer to work as a slug! 1 gigabyte of ram memory with the 2.6 ghz processor is not enough for a stupid Antivirus system? Come on |

| I totally agree with you. People are afraid to try something else. Newbies and other similar kind of people. There are so many easier, lighter, faster and very useful and successful antivirus solutions for free on line. I use Both COMODO antivirus and firewall solution. And I am satisfied in total. All of my programs are running perfect, without any interruption or strange behavior, and I have only 256 mb of ram installed. I speak the same: Norton system works or whatever, go to hell. |
