Norton AV/ MS Outlook compatibility issues

Hi there. I have Windows XP Professional with service pack 2 installed. I am using Microsoft Outlook 2007 for emails and Norton AntiVirus as protection against viruses. After upgrade to Office 2007 Norton Antivirus forbids me to open mails from Outlook. Is there some compatibility issues between MS Outlook 2007 and Norton AV? Thank you in advance.

Hello. Compatibility issue between Norton AV and MS Outlook can be one of the reasons for behavior you described. Another possibility is that mails are infected with a virus that Norton AntiVirus is unable to clean. Both problems can be solved if you update Norton Anti Virus or try some other antivirus software.
