Hello! I have an extremely annoying problem. I used to have Nod32 Antivirus but I didn’t like it very much and decided I want to use Panda instead. I uninstalled Nod32 but it seems it wasn’t completely successful. Panda was working alright but when I tried to update it a few days ago I couldn’t. Then it turned out I have some Nod32 leftovers and so I manually deleted them – all but one called nodshex.dll that upon trying to delete I get the message that it’s in use. How can I get rid of it! Please, I need some help ASAP!

You should locate this entry in your registry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\NOD32 Context Menu Shell Extension
and delete it. Then, after you reboot, you should be able to locate and delete that nodshex.dll file that’s bothering you normally by looking for it in Windows Explorer. You said that it’s the last thing that’s remained of the Nod32, but if it turns out it isn’t, write again and I’ll give you some more registry entries you might want to delete.
