No sound or movies on Firefox

Hello. I can not get movies or sound work in Firefox. When I click on link, QuickTime logo shows on the screen at that is all. I have QuickTime and Windows Media Player installed on my computer. When I copy these links in Internet Explorer 6 they work fine. What am I missing here? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Have you downloaded correct plug-in for Firefox. Visit their web site and try to find plug-in for QuickTime. Some plug-ins install and become active automatically but some requires additional steps. You should find in Firefox Properties if some of this plug-ins are present but not active. Hope that this helped you solve the problem with missing sound and movies in Firefox.
