Hello! My sound card went bad and I have replaced it. Since I replaced it with new one, I have no sound after installation of sound card. This is very strange for me and I just cannot figure out why this is happening. I hope that you will know. Thanks!
p.s.
I am running Win XP SP2 OS if that is relevant.

Hello! I must ask you have you after plugging new sound card and before installing its drivers removed existing sound drivers from your system? If you have not (and I think that), then you have conflict between old and new drivers and you need to completely remove them from your system and to install appropriate driver again. But, if this is not case, then maybe something is wrong with your motherboard.
