No network activity

Hello to everyone. I have a strange problem with my home network. I have two computers in this network and both are running Windows XP Professional with service pack 2. The problem is that there is no network activity at all. Everything worked fine until few days ago. Now I can not access Internet nor another computer on this network. Do you have any suggestion?

Hello there. You will have to check several things to troubleshoot problem with no network activity. I have to ask you first is this happening only on one computer or on both of them? If both computers can not access network then you will have to check router settings or firewall settings. Some firewalls, like Zone Alarm, are know to cause similar problems.
