Hello humans. I really think that my CD recorder has got malfunctioned. I have tried to burn last several CDs, and none of them is OK after burning. I simply drag and drop my files with NERO and the procedure starts. After the successful job, when I put a cd into the drive, it is blank! And I can notice the physical difference on the CD surface. Is my recorder ready for replacement? Thanks in advance.

This sounds as a silent lead-out problem. It reads well? Or your recorder is blind just for certain CDs that were burned with your drive? This means that the burning lens is leaving too weak trace on your CD. Therefore your CD-R drive cannot read the data on it. Or those CDs you use are fault. Try with other CD. Try with Verbatim, and check the burned material on some other drive. Than youll know is your drive for garbage.
