I have recently changed my configuration. It has all been working well until I upgraded my memory yesterday. After I put it in the slot and closed the case, I have turned computer back on. However, even though it seems to have started, I do not get any signal to monitor, and the light is just blinking. If anyone knows what is the problem, I would be grateful.

There can be various causes of your problem. For example, your graphic card may be an issue. Also, you might be getting no signal because of something completely different. Since you have upgraded your memory recently, I suppose it is the one making a problem. For example, you might have bought RAM from another manufacturer, the one who did not make RAM. In that case, there could be compatibility issues and because of that your system might be in trouble. Try removing that new RAM you bought. If you get the signal, you will know that was the problem.
