| You are probably right about faulty MoBo battery. If you have some basic knowledge in electronics and know how to work with a screwdriver, that should not be the problem. Open the case and remove the cooler over the processor. Now you could release the processor by pulling the handle from the side of the socket. When you release it, take it out of the slot, replace the other MoBo and return the CPU on its place. Be careful to put the CPU in the right direction or otherwise you will damage it. When you place the processor in the socket and secure it, put the thermal paste over it and then put the cooler back on its place. Because, all new motherboards are jumperless you do not need to do anything more. |
