| I have bought laptop several weeks ago and set up networking. Everything works well while I am at home, but when I go to some access point elsewhere, I simply cannot get IP address, and thus cannot connect to the Internet. What might be the problem? Any suggestion would be welcome. Thanks in advance. |

| Each access point has different IP address. That means that if you already have one specified, you will not be able to connect to the Internet. On the other hand, if you have previously not setup Dynamic Domain Name System, which will give you Internet access through DNS instead of IP, you will not be able to register any automatically. So, you need to do that. If you are not sure how, there is one good website that should help you. Go to http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/tutorials/article.php/3646181. I think you will be satisfied. |
