Hello. I have plugged out the old Graphic card from the AGP slot and installed a new one in my Computer. I am running Windows 98. Or I have used to run Window 98, because now I see only blank screen. Why does my new Sapphire Radeon 9600 XT does not want to work with my computer? Thanks.

There are few compatibility issues with AGP 1X, 2X, 4X, 8X and with some certain graphic cards. If your motherboard is 1 or 2X AGP capable, than thats it. You must use graphic card that is weaker than the Radeon you now have. 9600 is AGP 4X & 8X compatible. There is also difference at the voltage area. Anyway, if your motherboard have a jumper inside for switching trough AGP voltage areas, than there is a possibility to make your Radeon work with your config. Otherwise, no.
