New version of MS AntiSpyware

I have installed Microsoft AntiSpyware a few weeks ago. I am quite satisfied with it considering that it is a beta release. I have heard that new version of this software is available but it seems that I can not update to it. Do you know what is happening with update process. Thank you in advance for your attention.

Microsoft has changed significantly this program and it is called Windows Defender now. You will have to uninstall Microsoft AntiSpyware and then install Windows Defender. They had to make a drastic change from some reasons and you can not update MS AntiSpyware any more. Updates for Windows Defender will be released every week, according to Microsoft.
