I've cobbled together a shoddy little system, mostly for practice, but now I can't post it up. I don't think the HD starts up, but that's a secondary issue because I can't even get to BIOS. The CPY fan spins, and the CD drive also responds, but I'm getting no activity visual or otherwise. I checked all the connections and jumpers, and I don't know what else could be wrong. My guess is the ABIT motherboard's out, but I'm still hoping it's something else. Any suggestions?

Well, did you check if the PSU can supply all the hardware that you tacked on? (Speaking of which, you'll need to provide specific details if you want help.) It's possible that it doesn't have enough wattage, in which case you'll have to replace it. You can test for this by taking out all but the minimum required components – leave only the CPU, video card, and RAM on the board, and try getting it up. If it works this way, you need a new PSU.
