| My monitor displays a blue screen with green lines. When I turn it off picture stays for a minute and then fade out. This is very strange, especially because its brand new. How to fix this without having to go to the service? Its regular CRT monitor with 17 inches, and the screen resolution is 1280x1024. This all happened suddenly, everything was fine for a week. |

| Well, since its brand knew it could be one of the pins. Or some of the pins. Check your cable, especially pins. If they are twisted try to straighten it up. Did your monitors stays turned on whole day? If you have a warranty, dont loose your time, replace it immediately with new one. Faulty wire, voltage could also cause your monitor to display these green lines. I recommend you not to do this on your own, hire a professional. These issues cannot be solved easily, because CRT monitors are not used any more. Its better for you to buy new one. Of course, in case your warranty expired. Buy a nice TFT and dont fool around with old technologies any more. |
