Hello. I'm using Thunderbird as my e-mail client (on Windows XP with SP 2 installed). My problem is, temporary mail folders keep multiplying every time I start and shut down TB, even though I'm not doing anything, even when I don't check my mail at all. They're in both profile folders, and have similar names, something like prf1C1.tmp.sbd, prf1C2.tmp.sbd, etc. I tried deleting them manually (with TB turned off), but they7 come back the next time I restart. What's going on here?

Hmm… I seem to recall a similar issue that someone mentioned, but that was a couple of versions back. Which version are you running, again? Last I heard, 1.5.0.8 was the latest one. If you don't have that, go ahead and update. Other than that, try getting rid of any extensions/themes you might have, and see if the problem persists. Also, scan your system for viruses, if you haven't already.
