I need a new monitor. And I think I want to buy a new LCD monitor. I’ve searched around a while and am a little confused with a variety of models, brands, sizes, technical issues and prices. I need someone experienced to give me advice. What do I look for, and what is important to know when you are buying LCD monitor?

It really is a variety of different stuff on LCD market. I think you should start with the size. Just decide which size of monitor do you need and that would be a good point to start. I suggest you to find some review that include monitors of screen size that you need. Another thing is purpose. What do you are about to use the monitor for? If you have an idea to play games, especially more demanding ones, response time of monitor (in milliseconds) is an important issue for you. You can find LCD monitors up to 2 ms fast. And the better performance, the higher price, only this rule is not so strict. That is why you better explore the market first and find exactly what you need.
