| Hi all. I recently upgraded my video card to the 8600GT model, and to say that I'm disappointed would be a huge understatement. It's performing far below all my expectations, in some ways worse than the ancient ATI that I used to have. I'm seeing frame rates as low as 60-70 FPS, which is just ridicules. Any idea as to what might be wrong here? |

It could be any number of things, there's no way of telling until you post your system specs in full. Also, game FPS is not a valid benchmark tool, I suggest you get some serious testing utilities if you want to really evaluate performance.
