I have bought 250GB SATA 7200 WD HDD. Before this one I had Seagate hard drive and it was much more silent. In fact I worry that this noise coming from Western Digital hard drive means that something is wrong with it. What do you think about this? I hope you will answer me soon as I am worried about my hard drive and data.

Western digital hard drives are louder then hard drives from some other manufacturer. So that is hardly a problem. If your do not experience any other problems like reading or writing files, speed problems or something like that then I guess that your hard drive is OK. Also if this noise is not some clicking sound from hard drive when you power up the computer I think you should be fine.
