Hello. My friend and I are suffering some difficulties regarding his Mac and my PC. We just cant make these two machines work together in a small network. I want to set up my PC to work as a server and his Mac as a client. We have tried both 10.2 and 10.3 but without any success. Is there any program for Mac to make things easier, or there is only manual configuration like in XP? Thanks in advance.

Hello. As for as I am informed about all of that, that is no more or less different than establishing a network with Linux and PC. All you need to do is to make Samba working properly. If you have assigned valid IP addresses on both computers than try with smb:\\(PC ip address) on Mac client. If that doesnt works as well, try to reconfigure samba server. If problem is still present, check your network cables.
